Ingredients

  • 1/2 C Bob's Red Mill 1-1 GF Baking Flour
  • 1 1/2 TBSP Sugar
  • 1/4 TSP Salt
  • 2 TSP Baking Powder
  • 1/4 TSP Cream of Tartar
  • 6 TBSP Cold Vegan Butter
  • 1/2 Bob's Red Mill Egg Replacement If you don't have egg replacement just use 1 TBSP of water instead
  • 1/2 C Almond Milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450 F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Combine dry ingredients in a bowl.
  • Cut in cold butter.
  • Add in wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  • Place dough on a separate piece of parchment or wax paper on the counter.
  • Knead through about 10 times.
  • Pay dough out until about 1 inch thick. If you like thicker biscuits go 1.5 or 2 inches.
  • Using an upside down cup cut circles out of the dough. Should make approximately 8 biscuits depending on thickness of the dough and size of the cup
  • Place on baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes.
