Are you planning a trip to Salzburg, Austria? Are you looking for gluten free recommendations? Check out my 1 day gluten free Salzburg itinerary.

Day 1

Pizza & Pasta – Spaghetti & Co: I always try and do my best to eat food that is traditional to the country I am in, but I had to stop here because I heard great reviews. It has been a really long time since I have had lasagna and Spaghetti & Co offers a gluten free lasagna! They also have salads, pasta, and GF pizza.

Café Sacher: Did you even visit Austria if you didn’t get a traditional Sacher torte?! Located in the Hotel Sacher Salzburg is an adorable café with tons of yummy gluten free desserts. Definitely worth stopping by especially if you have a sweet tooth!

Die Weiss:If you are looking to enjoy a cold gluten free brew in a local beer garden, head on over to Die Weisse. They only offer one gluten free beer, but it’s not very often that people with Celiac Disease actually get to enjoy beer. Prost!

The items in yellow on the map under GF Restaurant Ideas are other gluten free restaurant suggestions in Salzburg, but I did not eat there. Here are the restaurants I did not have a chance to eat at:

Café Mozart
Sternbräu
The Heart of Joy

Have fun planning and enjoy eating gluten free in Salzburg!
