Ingredients

Cake Ingredients

  • 1 Gluten Free Yellow Cake Mix I used Pamela's Vanilla Cake
  • 1/2 C. Vegan Butter Replace the oil with vegan butter 1-1
  • 2/3 C. Water Use the same amount of water that is listed on your cake box
  • 2 TSP Vanilla

Other Ingredients

  • 2 Packages of Sweet Loren's Fudgy Brownie Dough
  • 1 Jar of Sweet Loren's Birthday Cake Cookie Dough
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

Cake Directions

  • Preheat oven to 325 F.
  • Do not follow the ingredients on the box of the yellow cake. Substitute the oil for vegan butter. Add in vanilla, water, and yellow cake mix. Do NOT add the eggs. Mix together until combined.
  • Pour into cake pan and follow directions on box for exact bake time. I did a round pan and baked for 30 min. Use a toothpick to determine the cake is done baking.
  • Before the cake cools remove the cake from the pan and crumble in a large bowl. You want the cake to be in tiny pieces...no big chunks.
  • Take 3/4 of the vanilla frosting jar and mix it in with the crumbled up vanilla cake. Mix until completely combined.
  • Set aside until it’s time for the cake layer.

Brookie Directions

  • Line 9x9 square pan with parchment paper. This will make it easier to remove the brookies and cut them.
  • Thaw fudgey brownie dough & birthday cake cookie dough at room temperature until it becomes soft to the touch.
  • Press all 24 brownie dough balls together to form one giant ball.
  • Press the brownie dough into the bottom of the pan. Press until it is even and forms a flat layer.
  • Grab the vanilla cake/frosting mixture. Press the cake mixture on top of the brownie layer. Press until it is even and forms a flat layer on top of the brownie dough.
  • Remove birthday cake dough from the jar and press on top of the cake layer. Press until it is even and forms a flat layer on top of the cake.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Top with sprinkles immediately when it comes out of the oven.
  • Let it completely cool in the pan before cutting.
